The Royal Solomon Islands Police Force (RSIPF) has appreciated the engagement of communities and stakeholders to ensure a peaceful and safe general election this month.
Police Commissioner Frank Prendergast made the statement during his media conference last Thursday.
Commissioner Frank Prendergast has appreciated the work done by communities and stakeholders to ensure a smooth election process.
He urges communities and stakeholders for their continuous support ahead of the election.
“And we’re really appreciating the support we’re getting from the community in ensuring the election is peaceful but continue to ask for that support. It’s a joint responsibility of the police, the other stakeholders and everyone in the community to ensure that this election goes well and is peaceful.”
