A week-long regional Health Forum is underway in Honiara.

Conducted by the World Vision at the Mendana Hotel, the Forum brings together participants from Papua New Guinea, Vanuatu, Timor-Leste and Solomon Islands.

It looks at ways in which World Vision can develop to address the current challenges and issues faced in its health programs and see how best it can engage with donors, national and provincial governments, stakeholders and partners in the long run.

A special session called “Market Place” will be held from 1-2 pm this Thursday afternoon at the Mendana Hotel.

This special session is for the media, donors and partners.

The local media will be given an opportunity to hear, read and ask questions about World Vision’s health work in the region, particularly in the Solomon Islands.
