The Transparency Solomon Islands (TSI) questions if the resolutions of previous Premiers Conferences were ever taken to task.

The leading transparency organisation in the country  discussed this with its members as the 8th Premier’s conference is set to open on October 5th.

TSI says the government has spent millions of dollars in preparatory work and the actual conferences, therefore citizens expect the government to ‘act’ upon previous resolutions.

It adds, failing to meet this expectation is a waste of time and resources.

The 8th conference this year will be co-hosted by Guadalcanal province and Honiara City Council.
