U.S. GOVERNMENT DONATES $50-M TO ASSIST CYCLONE PAM VICTIMS
The United States Government has donated $50,000 to assist Solomon Islanders affected by Cyclone Pam.
The United States Embassy in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea reports, the disaster relief pledge comes in response to Solomon Islands Government request to assist victims of the Tropical Cyclone.
US AID’s Foreign Disaster Assistance Office will deliver the humanitarian relief through a relief organisation on the ground.
