VAKA INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE CONVENES AT SINU, HONIARA

The two-day ‘Vaka Pacifiki International Education Conference’ will be held at the Kukum Campus of Solomon Islands National University beginning tomorrow, 5th July 2016.

The conference is jointly hosted by SINU, University of South Pacific and University of Victoria in New Zealand.

A notice from SINU says the opening ceremony is expected at 9am in the presence of the Minister of Education and Human Resources Development Honourable John Moffat Fugui, Vice Chancellor of SINU, Dr. Glynn Galo, Deputy Vice Chancellor of USP, Professor Derrick Armstrong, and several high ranking officials from the University of South Pacific, Victoria University of New Zealand and Solomon Islands National University and 600 delegates from many parts of the world.

Papers will be presented by delegates from Australia, Cooks Island, Fiji, France, Guam, Papua New Guinea, New Caledonia, New Zealand, Samoa, Solomon Islands, United Kingdom and Vanuatu.

It adds, among 110 papers that will be presented are 32 papers which will be presented by academics from SINU.
