WOMEN TO COMMEMORATE INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY TOMORROW

Women in Honiara will commemorate International Women’s Day tomorrow.

The day begins with a parade from the Honiara City Council to Art Gallery where activities will take place.

This year’s International Women’s Day theme is, ” Empowering Women and Girls in Solomon Islands – Making it Happen.”

A theme which highlights the important role women play in the development of Solomon Islands.

International Women’s Day is an annual event and falls on 8th March.
