Body of late H.E Barnabas Anga will arrive today

The body of the late Solomon Islands High Commissioner to Papua New Guinea H.E Mr. Barnabas Anga will arrive this afternoon.

A statement from the Government officially confirmed.

H.E Mr. Barnabas Anga will arrive at 2:30pm local time in Honiara on Sunday 18th July 2021 via a chartered Solomon Airlines Flight

The late High Commissioner Anga died on Friday 9th July 2021 in Port Moresby.

 The late Anga served as Solomon Islands High Commissioner to Papua New Guinea since 4th September 2015. 

Before taking up the High Commissioners post, He held a few other Permanent Secretary positions in previous governments.

The Late High Commissioner Barnabas Anga will be laid to rest at the Betikama Adventist Cemetery.
