Marist FC defender Michael Boso is poised to sign a one year deal with Oceania Football Confederation Champions league winners ,Team Wellington.

The twenty-six year old from Munda, Western Province had played a huge part in Marist FC’s O League campaign, where they reached the semi finals for the first time.

Boso has represented the country at youth levels, in the under twenty and under twenty-three, and made his national squad debut in 2016.

He scored a total of four goals last season , including a crucial goal against AS Magenta in the OFC Champions League.

Boso is set to travel to Wellington, New Zealand, once all the paper work is sorted in the coming weeks.

He will join the Miramer rangers for the winter season before teaming up with Team Wellington for the 2018/2019 season.

Team Wellington will represent ‘Oceania’ in the upcoming FIFA Club world cup in the United Arab Emirates in December.

It is unclear at this stage, if Boso will be part of that squad.
