COMMONWEALTH DEPUTY SECRETARY VISITS SOLOMON ISLANDS
The Commonwealth Deputy Secretary-General Deodat Maharaj is in the country.
A media statement ahead of his arrival says, among issues Mr Maharaj is keen to talk about during his brief stop over is the Commonwealth’s ongoing work in the Pacific region regarding youth development.
He also has some interest in increasing trade capacity and addressing vulnerability in Solomon Islands.
Mr. Maharaj’s visit ends tomorrow 21st September.
