Crime Prevention Committees have been established in various communities in Russell islands, Central province.

This was a joint initiative between the Royal Solomon Islands Police Force (RSIPF) and the local communities to combat crime at the community level.

This week, Provincial Police Commander for Central province, Patricia Leta made a successful visit to the established Crime Prevention Committees.

Commander Leta said it is encouraging to see communities got engaged in crime prevention initiatives.
