The Chiefs and community leaders of Bahomea and Malango in Central Guadalcanal have given their full support to the Tina Hydro Project.

A Senior representative of Roha tribe, Daniel Una, said in a statement yesterday that every single community are supportive of the project a hundred percent.

Mr Una said this is because the communities will be better off than before as the hydro is a long term investment, which can provide important infrastructure to the people such as improved roads, schools, clinics and others.

Meanwhile, Mr Una has warned tribe members of Roha to stay out of any disturbance to the project as it will benefit present and future generations.

Mr Una appeals to current leaders of Bahomea and Malango to support and move the project forward.
