The Guadalcanal Provincial Revenue Division is this week monitoring all public transport operating within its boundaries.

Guadalcanal Provincial Revenue and Licensee Officer Mr. Terry Vekea says this is to patch up revenue gaps from the public transport business licence.

“This is for us to check the business licenses of taxis, pickup trucks and any other types of public vehicles that we are using to go about in Guadalcanal.”

Mr. Vekea adds Guadalcanal police commands the operation.
