The Solomon Islands national futsal side, the Kurukurus, has beaten Taiwan 4-3 to claim their second win in the Asian Indoor games in Turkmenistan last night.

A goal each from youngsters Atana Fa’arodo, and Alvin Hou, and a brace by George Stevenson helped the Oceania champions maintain their impressive run in the tournament.

The win ensured the Kurukurus go top of pool A with six points after two games.

They will face hosts Turkmenistan tomorrow, who are in second place.
