NEW ZEALAND PROMISED $300,000 SUPPORT TO SOLS FLOOD
New Zealand Foreign Minister Murray McCully says the New Zealand Government will contribute 3-hundred thousand dollars to support current relief efforts in Solomon Islands.
Radio New Zealand International reports today, some 250-thousand dollars will go to agencies working on the ground in Solomon Islands for emergency relief supplies and shelter.
A further 50-thousand dollars will go to New Zealand’s High Commission to help in areas identified by the Solomon Islands government.
