POLICE CALL FOR COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIP IN POLICING

The Royal Solomon Islands Police Force, RSIPF, Acting Police Commissioner Juanita Matanga has called on all communities in the country to strengthen their partnership with the police.

Speaking to local journalists, Commissioner Matanga says it is important to have a strong community partnership.

“Police will continue to do its job, but our people must stand to do something instead of police doing the job alone and I want to continue reemphasize the importance of working in partnership the police as we continue with policing in the country.”

SIBC News understands the police have recorded a low crime rate over the past week.
