Members of Royal Solomon Islands Police Force, RSIPF, at Tetere have arrested a second suspect in relation to a murder incident at Dudula area, Tasimboko in 2011.

A media statement from RSIPF today reports, this comes after an off-duty male Police officer spotted the accused working on the palm oil farm this morning and quickly alerted the Guadalcanal Police Headquarter which led to his arrest.

The statement says police have sought to remand him today at the Honiara Magistrate court.

The statement adds while Police continues its investigations on every reported case, members of the public must report any escapee residing in the communities who may pose threats and risks to innocent lives.

SIBC News understands the accused who is in his 30’s has been alleged to involve in two murder cases at Dudula in 2011 and at Tetere in 2012.
