WESTERN PROVINCE ALLOCATED $11 MILLION FROM P.G.S.P

The Western Provincial Government has been allocated $11 million in grants from the Provincial Government Strengthening Program.

This is the largest amount of performance based grants the province has received.

Premier for Western Province, Robert Pye Kuve announced the funds at the opening of the Provincial Assembly Meeting yesterday.

He further assured people, his Government will fulfil the projects it has planned for the next three years.

“Even though we have not received this grant I wish to acknowledge the patience of my good people of this province who are still to see these projects implemented.Mr Speaker Sir this have and had been assured by the Provincial Government, that the funds are forthcoming and will be paid in three installments. This will enable the people of this province to witness tangible developments taking place in wards where projects will be located.”
