O.P.M.C INVITES NOMINATIONS FOR 2015 HONOURS & AWARDS

The Office of the Prime Minister and Cabinet has invited nominations from the general public for this year’s Honours and Awards.
A statement from the Office of the Prime Minister today says the Solomon Islands Honours and Awards are categorized as Star of Solomon Islands (SSI), Cross of Solomon Islands (CSI) Solomon Islands Medal (Silver), Solomon Islands Medal (Bronze), Solomon Islands Meritorious Metal, Solomon Islands Independence Medal.
Civil Societies, Organizations, Communities, Private Business Bodies and Churches are expected to send in nominations.
Winning nominees are to receive the Solomon Islands Honours Awards during Solomon Islands 37th Independence Anniversary Celebration in July.
Meanwhile, completed nominations are advised to include the nominee’s CV and brief outline of the nominee’s contribution or services to the Solomon Islands.
Closing date for all nominations is 8th June.
