Residents along the Bahai and Saint Barnabas Cathedral highway in Honiara thanked responsible authorities for a job well done in sealing the dusty stretch of road which had posed heath threats to their lives over the past few weeks.

The residents had called on the authorities earlier, as the dust is posing health threats, especially breathing problems for children and families residing along the highway.

But Saint Barnabas Cathedral Dean, Father Davidson Waeramo said the people are happy to see that the road has been fixed, which means they will enjoy fresh air again.

Father Waeramo said living in a healthy environment is important for everyone in the country.
