Kuma Area Health Clinic has re-opened its doors to patients after its water supply was restored.

The rural area clinic in South Guadalcanal was forced to close for seven months because of a shortage of water.

SIBC stringer for South Guadalcanal Nathaniel Manu reports the clinic re-opened and began normal services again last week after its water supply was restored.

“Kuma rural health clinic at the Vatukulau ward in South Guadalcanal has re-opened its services after closing its doors for seven months. According to those living at Vera Moho as far as Kuma, Vaehahu, Volotitimoloheti and Haliatu have expressed gratitude over the resumption of normal health services to their communities.”
